Last night, the recent tornado that tore through Dearborn County changed everything for Lisa Barker and Bobby Hensley. In a matter of seconds, the storm destroyed their Aurora home and turned their lives upside down. As the tornado struck, Lisa was trying to reach safety in the basement when the staircase collapsed on top of her. Through determination and teamwork, Lisa and Bobby were able to free her and survive the storm. While they are incredibly grateful to be alive, the home they built their lives in was completely destroyed.

The devastation left behind is difficult to put into words. Their house was reduced to rubble, and many of their personal belongings, household necessities, furniture, clothing, keepsakes, and everyday essentials were lost. Right now, they are facing the overwhelming task of starting over. We are asking our friends, neighbors, and community to come together and support Lisa and Bobby during this incredibly difficult time.
