Help Lisa beat Lymphoma and pay medical expenses

My Sister-in-law Lisa is always—ALWAYS making sure others are taken care of, and rarely (If ever!) asks for help. Everyone deserves a friend or family member like that.

Now she and my brother, and my 16 year old niece Carlee need help.

Lisa was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma six weeks ago.

She’s on her first round of Chemotherapy which will go till December. After which, they will decide if she needs more chemotherapy and/or radiation. The cancer can’t be removed, because of its location on her lymph nodes, so chemo is the only way to attack it.

Chemotherapy has taken a toll on Lisa’s body—she’s ill, she’s tired, and though she tries to sound brave and strong, I know she wishes she could DO SOMETHING about the situation—unfortunately this is one thing she can’t actually control.

My brother Bob is now the sole income for his family. He has a two hour commute for work, and at times stays overnight closer to his job—which means he isn’t able to do what he really wants to do—take care of his sick wife and be with his family.

Funds raised by this campaign will go straight to my Brother’s family, and will aid in medical expenses, transportation, and will supplement Lisa’s loss of income while she is home taking care of her health.

We also want to make sure my niece, Carlee is able to continue her extracurricular activities and have as normal a life as possible—without adding financial strain on her parents.
