Can you imagine retiring, moving to your dream locale, and living your best life? My good friend Lisa Ingle and her sister Lesley did just that. They had recently relocated from Ojai, CA to Altadena in August and found the cutest little place to call home.

Just this past week, like so many others, they lost everything in the Eaton fire. They were able to evacuate with their pets and one vehicle but not much else. Lisa's car and all their possessions are gone. There is some insurance, but not enough to cover everything that needs to be replaced. All funds will be used to replace Lisa's car, clothing, furniture and anything else they need to start returning their lives to some semblance of normal.

If you lived in Oakland Park or went to North Andrews Gardens Elementary you probably know Ms. Ingle or had her as a teacher. Let's give her the support she gave us during her years as a Broward County Educator.
