Help Lisa and Hayden Through This Tough Time

My daughter, Lisa Dyer, lives in Shawnee, KS with her 13-year-old daughter, Hayden. Through hard work, she has built a good life filled with love and joy for herself and her daughter, Hayden, who is an excellent student and a very active young lady. She plays school volleyball, is a cheerleader, trains in gymnastics, attends her church youth group, and spends in-person quality time with her friends. Lisa is a very active and engaged mother and known as “Mom 2” to Hayden’s friends.

In her professional life, Lisa works for Lockton Companies as a team leader in their accounting department. Since she started there in 2009, her hard work has earned her the respect of her colleagues and supervisors alike. She is a dedicated employee who loves her job and always looks forward to and happily accepts new challenges.

In the spring of 2023, she purchased a modest home for her and her daughter. Everything seemed perfect. Then, in December 2023, her life was turned upside down when she was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer (metastatic Phyllodes). Numerous surgeries, radiation treatments, and now rigorous chemotherapy have left her in a financial crisis. Having now exhausted all avenues of financial support, Lisa has been forced onto complete disability, resulting in a substantial decrease in her income – a 40% decrease.

Lisa’s determination to overcome this illness is unwavering, yet the financial strain is significant. Cancer not only impacts one’s physical health but also takes a heavy toll on personal finances. As she continues her fight, your prayers and any support, big or small, will be truly valuable.
