Help Lisa, a Teacher, Fight Cancer
Donation protected
Friends and family,
We are reaching out to share an unfortunate breast cancer diagnosis for mother, wife, friend, and teacher, Lisa Roppolo. Lisa was recently diagnosed with stage 2 triple negative breast cancer. This diagnosis has lead to her sadly ending the school year 5 months early to undergo aggressive weekly chemo treatments and procedures to fight for her life.
Why We Need Support:
Cancer treatments are incredibly costly and this hurdle that has arisen is going to be a large financial hardship on her and her family as she isn’t able to work and has a large insurance deductible to meet. Chemo treatments will be rough on the body and make her very susceptible to illnesses in a school setting. She will undergo several weeks of Chemo, have surgery, and continue chemo after. She will need to be in a proper environment and comfortable in her home.
Lisa is a veteran teacher who has been teaching in New Port Richey for 21 years. Lisa started her teaching career at Mittye P. Locke Elementary School and is currently a 3rd grade teacher in Trinity. Lisa has given everything she has to the community for last 21 years, touching the lives of over 500 students in her years as a teacher. For the first time, we are asking for the community to come together to help her. Lisa isn’t one to ask for money but she can't fight this battle alone.
Lisa is a mom to her son and daughter, Jordan and Jessica, and a wife to her husband Randy. This news has been completely devastating to them and are so worried about the financial stresses this may cause their family. Lisa’s family is so grateful for any support they may receive during this incredibly hard time.
My name is Jaimie and I'm reaching out to ask for your support on behalf of my dear friend Lisa. As a teacher myself, l know first-hand the financial struggles that come along with this career, especially when you become ill.
Lisa has always been the kind of person who gives help to those that are in need, whether it is to lend a listening ear or physically assist in a task. I have had the pleasure of knowing her and becoming close friends with her over the last 5 plus years, and it is time to return the kindness and help her.
Every donation — no matter the amount — will make a huge impact on easing this financial burden. Your support will allow Lisa to focus fully on her health and recovery so she can start the 2025 school year strong in August. Please consider donating and sharing this page with your network.
Please keep Lisa in your thoughts and prayers as she fights!
Thank you for taking the time to read this! Your support means everything!
