Help Liquorice
Donation protected
His name is Liquorice. He turned up at my door a few months ago, thin, cold, lonely and terrified. He may well have been abandoned when his humans moved without hm.
I am Sarah and I have been feeding him and very, very slowly trying to gain his trust. He will not come indoors. Bad things have probably happened in his past. Trust doesn't come easily. But he has safe shelter, a haven from the harsh realities of his precious little life. I will not give up on him. I am committed to his needs and his cherishing.
I am so grateful to Cat Watch Rescue Amesbury for all their help and advice with regards to Liquorice ⬛
But now, he needs to be neutered. He is in danger of serious injury if he fights with other cats. He is very, very vulnerable. His beautiful long fur is matted and will have to be sorted out under sedation at the vet. He has developed a limp that needs examination and possibly treatment. I can't bear to think of this brave little cat in pain.
But no charity that I have approached as yet can help with the costs of his vet treatment, including several branches of Cats Protection. We are not in the requisite catchment area for the PDSA or Blue Cross. Neutering alone is £119
So I'm reaching out to my cat loving family and friends, and the wider cat community. It's just one life among thousands. But so brave, so vulnerable, so infinitely precious. It's not his fault.
Can you give, even a tiny amount, to help me to help Liquorice? If I receive more than we need, any surplus money will be donated to a smaller local rescue.
Thank you
