Help Liqun Wang and His Family

Dear Liqun's Friends,

As you may have heard, Liqun Wang, a colleague and friend who is a Principal Structural Engineer at SBM, has been diagnosed with a severe disease, Moyamoya. He suffered a large scale of stroke on Aug 26th, 2018, which caused him to stay in ICU for 3 weeks. The right side of his body is still completely paralyzed. And he struggles with talking and eating. Currently, he still remains in the hospital in Galveston.  

He will be transferred to a long-term care facility upon his discharge from the hospital. According to his doctor, Liqun’s case is one of the worst ever seen. The recovery process may take many years and he might not be able to return to work in the near future.

Liqun’s wife is currently out of work. They have two children in school and are still recovering from the impact by Hurricane Harvey in 2017. They are in desperate need of assistance.
