Lio is not just a pet—he is family. His gentle spirit and loving presence have brought so much joy to our lives, and we can’t imagine our days without him. Recently, Lio became very ill. He stopped eating and spent the night vomiting, which left us deeply worried. Early this morning, we rushed him to Majestic Park Animal Hospital, where we learned that his platelets were dangerously low. The veterinarians discovered a large mass on his spleen and another on his lung, making this an incredibly frightening and uncertain time for all of us.

The costs of Lio’s care have quickly become overwhelming. Bloodwork, x-rays, and a CT scan have already added up, over 8K and now Lio needs surgery to remove the mass on his spleen, a biopsy on the lung mass, and possibly another surgery, hospitalization, and even chemotherapy. Every dollar raised will go directly toward Lio’s medical bills, surgery, and ongoing care, giving him the best possible chance for recovery and more happy years with us. Lio is only 8 years old, and we are holding onto hope for many more memories together.
