I’m raising funds to help me travel to Las Vegas, Nevada to coach Mauro Pellot and Lorenzo Pellot at the U23 World Championship as part of the Puerto Rican World Team. I’ve coached Mauro and Lorenzo since the very beginning of their wrestling journeys, back when they were young high school athletes, and being able to stand in their corner on this stage means everything to me. Mauro was my first State Placer and All American, and Lorenzo became our program’s first State Champion. They still represent the heart of our program and continue to train locally when they’re home. I truly consider them like my younger brothers, and I want to keep showing up for them the same way I always have.

The challenge is that while the athletes are competing for the Puerto Rican World Team, coaches do not receive financial support. I’m asking for help covering the costs required for me to be there, including the United World Wrestling delegation fee, credentials, flights, the required gear package, and the mandatory hotel stay of at least four nights at $250 per night. Your support will help me continue coaching Mauro and Lorenzo on the world stage and make sure they have someone in their corner who knows their journey.
