Help Linzi Page in her cancer journey

Fundraising for Linzi Page, age 39, mum to Calan (8) and Charlotte (5).

 

On 30th April 2018 Linzi was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer. This was devastating for Linzi and the family, and turned her world upside down. Linzi was initially given a life expectancy of 12-18 months. A diagnosis she has outlived with strength, determination, good fortune and with the help of others. Lately she was given the devastating news that her 2nd line chemotherapy isn’t working and she is running out of options.

 

Linzi has previously been on a drug - Avastin (not NHS funded) - which she tolerated well and gave her valuable time with her family. The opportunity has arisen again for her to explore the possibly of using Avastin / other non NHS funded chemo treatments, and hopefully they will give her more time with her precious 2 kids and loved ones.

Unfortunately this treatment is expensive, having previously spent tens of thousands to cover the medical bills. We have set this page up to help raise money to cover the cost of this treatment. Additionally we would like to use a proportion of this money for Linzi to treat her 2 precious kids to something special and continue making special memories !
