Hi everyone — this is Linus.
Linus is 9.5 years old, and he’s the kind of cat who acts like a loyal dog: affectionate, protective, and always close to the people he loves. He isn’t “just a pet” to us — he’s family.
Linus has been diagnosed with lymphoma, and he is now receiving treatment under veterinary care. Right now the priority is stabilizing him, keeping him comfortable, and giving him the best chance to respond as we begin oncology-directed treatment.
This fundraiser will help cover:
• Emergency and specialist visits
• Hospitalization and IV fluids/medications
• Bloodwork and monitoring
• Oncology treatment (chemotherapy/medications, depending on his protocol)
• Anti-nausea meds, appetite support, GI protection, and other supportive care
• Follow-up visits and ongoing care as he responds
We’ve already spent thousands trying to diagnose and stabilize Linus, and the costs continue as treatment moves forward. We’re setting a goal of $5,000 as a baseline to cover the immediate treatment phase and help ensure we don’t have to stop care because of cost.
If you’re able to help — by donating or sharing — we would be incredibly grateful. If you can’t, we completely understand, and we still appreciate you keeping Linus in your thoughts.
Thank you for reading and for caring about our boy.
