Hi! I am excited to inform you all that I have gotten accepted at Berklee College of Music! I was overjoyed when I had received the invitation to participate.
Two, almost three years ago, on July 21, 2018 , my father had died from pancreatic cancer after a long illness. This occurred two weeks before the start of my junior year in high school. This greatly changed the financial situation in my home. My mother became the sole breadwinner in my home. Eventually, my mother became unemployed which caused even more stress in my household. Due to the financial strain we lost our home in December 2020. Since then we have moved in with my grandmother in Alabama which is where we currently live.
