Linkin’s story

On May 2, 2026 We decided to take a trip to the Bike trails at Turkey Mountain in Tulsa Oklahoma. We rode for a few hours before my 8 year old son lost control on a trail and ramped off the bank of a down hill trail, causing him to get the breath knocked out of him and receive a few minor cuts and bruises. His arm was bruised pretty good, and he had a bump on his head even though he was wearing a helmet. We took him to the emergency room to get checked out. They ran x rays, and his bones were good but the CT scan revealed a mass in his brain measuring at 4cm. At this point, we are playing the waiting game while appointments are being made with neurologists, and we tried to cram as much quality time together as possible. We’re hoping to get some help taking care of hospital bills and other financial struggles from missing work. After receiving a lot of attention on TikTok and Facebook, we’re hoping to spread awareness about the importance of getting frequent checkups, bike safety and the appreciating the time we have with our loved ones.
