Help Link Silbaugh In His Battle To Beat Cancer

My brother Link Silbaugh was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in July. There were very few symptoms leading up to him going into the doctor and the symptoms he had came on quickly. As you can imagine the diagnoses was a shock and he had to act quickly to start fighting for his life.

In July after his diagnoses the doctors quickly realized they needed to relive the pressure on his liver. The tumor was pressing on his liver causing jaundice and damage. Link had two surgery’s in July to put stints in place. At the end of July he started Chemo. To date Link has had 5 rounds of chemo and as some of you may know this has taken its own toll on is health. On October 28th Link will undergo a 8 hour surgery to remove the head of the pancreas however it will also entail the doctors to remove his gallbladder, part of his stomach, as well as the possibility of total removal of his pancreas and spleen.

Needless to say this is not how Link envisioned his future life to be. He has been unable to work since his diagnoses in July and now with his next surgery coming up at the end of October he has no idea when or if he will be able to return to full time work as a blade operator. Some of you know there is no one better then Link at operating heavy equipment!

Links favorite things to do are spend time with his grandkids and ride his Harley and my hope is that he will always be able to do the things he loves.

Link will never speak of needed anything he has alway been a giver. It was difficult to get his ok to even start this go fund me account. However the stress and strain of the financial burdens he is facing is a feeling I hope to help ease with this account. His medical bills are piling up not to mention the stress of dealing with everyday living expenses.

Link is my brother but also my best friend. The diagnoses alone could have taken away his hope but it didn’t! He is a fighter and wants to conquer this horrible disease. Please help ease the added stress of his financial burdens by donating.
