Lindy is the kind of person who steps up for others, even when she’s facing her own challenges. We didn’t know her before my daughter's two dogs went missing, during a snowstorm, but she became a hero to our family. While several people saw one of the missing dogs, Lindy was the only one who took action to secure him. She found him at her place of employment, put out food and a makeshift bed, and made sure he was safe until she could bring him home. Her compassion brought our dog back to us.
Sadly, Lindy’s kindness came at a cost. Management at her job scolded and belittled her for helping our dog with food and a place to lay, even cursing at her in front of others. After only three months at this job, she was forced to walk away. This was especially hard for Lindy, who is still recovering from two car accidents that left her badly injured for 8 months and unable to return to her previous higher-paying job. She’s been struggling financially ever since, risk of foreclosure and now, losing her job because she chose to help a pup in need.
Lindy is caring for six puppies of her own while facing urgent bills and the threat of foreclosure. We want to help her the way she helped us. If you’re able, please consider helping Lindy get back on her feet. She’s shown so much kindness to us even when it’s been hard for her. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference in helping her keep her home with a roof over her and her own puppies' heads. Thank you for supporting someone who truly deserves a helping hand for stepping up to help a family and missing pup in need.
