Help Lindsey with high medical bills

A few weeks ago Lindsey, who is a single mom, was on her way to volunteer at her church when another driver crossed the center line and collided into her car.  It was a near head on collision. Lindsey is a Nurse Practitioner at TriHealth in Cincinnati.  

Lindsey suffered massive injuries from the crash.  She broke her ankle, broke one kneecap into four pieces, broke her elbow, broke her sternum, broke one vertebrae in her back, lacerated her spleen, and shattered her hip ball through her hip socket. These are just some of the injuries she suffered.  Lindsey underwent 15 hours of surgery over 3 days to repair her injuries.  

We are happy to say she is currently recovering in a rehabilitation center.  She still faces many challenges.  For instance, she still cannot put weight on her legs and won’t be able to for 8 weeks; it will be months of therapy before she will be able to walk again. If everything goes as planned, doctors are hopeful that she may be able to return to work in 6 months.  She had to move from her third floor apartment to a place with no stairs.  Needless to say, Lindsey has a long road to recovery ahead of her and we could use your support and your prayers because her medical bills could easily exceed $700,000.

 

Lindsey is a very giving and fun loving person.   We want to give back to her now.  We are grateful for your donation of any amount; every last dollar will help us toward reaching our goal of $80,000.
