On February 16, 2026, my mom, Lindsey Pollock, experienced a life-threatening episode of diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), a serious complication of diabetes. Tragically, she was not found for nearly 17 hours, and during that time, she went into cardiac arrest. Paramedics had to perform CPR three times before they were able to find a pulse. We didn’t know if she was going to survive, but through incredible strength and a bit of a miracle, she pulled through and is still with us today.
Lindsey now faces a long and challenging road to recovery. She is unable to work and will need ongoing care, including physical therapy and other medical support, to regain her strength and independence. The medical bills from her hospital stay and continued treatment have become overwhelming, and our family is struggling to keep up with the costs.
If you are able to help with her medical bills and recovery expenses, our family would be deeply grateful for your kindness and support. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us hope and helps Lindsey focus on healing. Thank you so much for considering a gift to support her journey.
