Calling All Angels! 

Our dear friend Lindsey Wert has been suffering from Lyme disease for over five years. Lyme is a chronic condition that is life-threatening, causes chronic pain, heart problems, thyroid issues, adrenal fatigue, migraines, fainting, breathing issues and more. Lindsey has researched and tried many treatments, and has found that the most effective is located in Germany. These treatments have gotten Lindsey to the point where she is able to function well enough to do her work as a therapist helping clients recover from eating disorders and trauma.

Lindsey is a true angel who provides healing to those who need it most. I have watched her progress from a student of psychology to the caring, capable therapist she is today, and am so impressed by her work ethic and dedication. However, due to the high cost of her medical expenses, she unable to work enough to pay for her continuing treatment. This is why she needs our support. The US medical system sadly does not recognize this disease or cover the costs of its treatment.

I can't think of a person more deserving of our support than Lindsey. She has a heart of gold and gives healing, hope, and guidance to people who are suffering from emotional pain and trauma. We need more people like her in this world. More than anything, Lindsey wants to get well so that she will have the energy to continue her important work as a therapist making a huge difference in people's lives.

The cost of her treatment for a month (including being off work and traveling to Germany) costs $15,000. This will be her fourth time going there for treatment. Previously she has funded most of the treatment and travel costs herself, but she is physically unable to do that this time. Any amount that you can donate will be helpful in funding this life-giving treatment for Lindsey.
