Help Lindsey Berg Beat Thyroid Cancer with a Smile

Dear Friends, Family, and Generous Supporters,

We are writing to share some difficult news: our sister, Lindsey, has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer that has spread to her lymph nodes. While this diagnosis has been an emotional experience for our family, we are grateful to report that her prognosis is good.

Lindsey is the kind of person who would give the shirt off her back to help someone in need. She is the friend everyone wishes they had – generous, loving, entertaining and endlessly supportive. Even now, she’s facing this battle with her trademark humor and cracking jokes keeping everyone’s spirits up.

Her treatment plan includes surgery, radiation therapy and on-going medical care. While we are hopeful and optimistic about her recovery, the financial burden of her treatment is significant. Lindsey remains positive, but the one thing that brings additional stress to her are the medical bills.
