Heyyy everyone!!!! thank you to everyone that’s helping you don’t know how much it means to me to have people in my community that are kind and care
And whomever anonymously donated over $600…. I am speechless. I was literally just trying to figure out how to stretch $400 between $1100 rent $220 car insurance and $240 for the part for my car that I need, so I can get back to door dashing on the side because my main job is not cutting it…. And I’ve got to get my cat to the vet asap.
It's always something, or at least that’s how I’ve felt lately. I’m stuck in fight or flight mode 24/7. My boss literally said that I do so great , but I’m so anxious and tense. Then I realized how hard I was clenching my jaw… Sometimes I feel so alone in this journey of life, and things feel impossible, and then i find myself just fighting to get through to the next day. It’s like thing after thing keeps happening. Like life is like
but I am pushing through, there’s no quit in me.
It is a blessing to have such a beautiful and amazing community around me. That have supported me and you guys have no idea how much I appreciate it. I appreciate the help, sharing, everything with all my heart ❤️
thank you everyone for contributing, it truly means the world to me. God bless and Happy new year everyone!!!
My fiancé Ashley and I were in a car accident tonight that has turned our lives upside down. Ashley is currently in the hospital with serious injuries—she lost her two front teeth and hurt her hand badly, and she’s been admitted for care and will need to have surgery on her finger tomorrow. I suffered a concussion and my bottom teeth were pushed back, leaving me with a painful overbite that will require urgent dental work. To make matters worse, we lost our only running car in the accident. My car has been broken down for a month, so now we have no way to get to work, medical appointments, DoorDash, which is a HUGE part of my income, and we aren’t able to work in the community as easily as I have been with having a reliable vehicle. We are unable to even care for our animals (taking them for vet appointments and check-ups).
We’re reaching out for help because we need to repair my car as soon as possible; that’s priority number one. Next, I need dental work immediately done. I am in so much pain in my mouth. My bottom 4 teeth are all very loose and on the verge of falling out. But it is so, so unbearably painful. Eventually, we need to save up for a replacement vehicle for Ashley, whose car was totaled in this accident. Ashley hasn’t been able to work due to an upcoming hand and wrist surgery, so we’re relying on my income alone. I’ve always tried to help my community—feeding the homeless with leftover food from my job, and Ashley and I are both active in rescuing and rehoming cats. This year, we’ve found homes for 27 cats and a dog, and helped with TNR for 12 cats. I do all of my own rescuing independently solely because I cannot bear to see an animal in need. Not having a running car also means I can’t do DoorDash right now, which is how I usually earn extra money to help us get by. It’s a HUGE part of my income that helps me afford groceries, gas, food for my animals, and anything else needed throughout the month. Now, we’re the ones in need, and it’s hard to ask for help, but we truly need it to get back on our feet.
Your support would mean the world to us. We’re hoping our community can rally around us in this difficult time. Every donation, no matter the size, will help us repair our car, cover urgent dental and medical expenses, and care for our animals. If you can’t donate, I totally understand, but if you could please share my story with others. Thank you for reading our story and considering a donation to help us through this crisis.
