I have recently experienced severe headaches that led me to the emergency room, where I was rushed to Callahan Eye Hospital for an optic emergency. The diagnosis was acute angle closure glaucoma, which is a serious condition. As a result, I have lost all vision in my left eye and only have about 40% vision in my right eye. The doctors are doing everything they can to help me save the little vision I have left, but it is unlikely that I will regain any of the vision I have already lost. This sudden and dramatic change has been overwhelming, and I am still adjusting to the reality of living with such limited sight.

Because of this vision loss, I am unable to work. My job was entirely based on driving, and now I am facing the challenge of figuring out how to support myself and my family. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward paying bills, covering basic needs for our home, purchasing the medicines I need, and paying for the doctor visits that are coming up. Every bit of support will help us get through this difficult time and give me a chance to focus on my health and recovery.
