You know us. We are your favorite mother-daughter pair. For those of you that don’t know us, let me introduce ourselves. The gorgeous young lady in the picture is my hilarious, smart, fierce, perfect daughter, Riley. Riley is in 6th grade and is almost 13 years old. She loves horseback riding and is in equestrian lessons. My name is Lindsay and I am a registered nurse and single mother (for almost 13yrs). I have worked hard raising my daughter on my own all this time and I’ve done a great job doing so. Riley is growing up to be an amazing young lady. The two of us have lived in California for almost 3 years and are loving it. We have become established and settled with a great support system on our side. Recently, Riley’s father has taken legal measures trying to force Riley to move back to Pennsylvania and live with him. Those of you that know us see how extremely close Riley & I are (we are compared to the Gilmore girls lol). Living away from me would be an awfully horrible outcome for my daughter. I know that you can’t help me fight this fight and the only one that can make the final decision is the judge. I am only reaching out in hopes of getting a little help with legal fees. I have already paid my lawyer a fortune and now that we are going to trial, my lawyer said that fees can be close to $10,000. Plus, she said that she will not accept payment plans. Working overtime can only do so much. Every dollar helps. Thank you in advance.
