Hi my name is Kaitlyn Ahrens, I'm from New York. My best friend of 21 years Lindsay McElligott just lost pretty much everything she owns to the Marshall Colorado wild fires. Lins decided to take the leap and move to her dream state alone, Colorado. She was renting a room in Louisville and finally felt like she found a place to call home. While she was back in NY for the holidays she was informed by her roommates that they were being evacuated. She will need money to purchase replacement clothing, tv, and furniture. She will also be using some of the funds to try to find another place to live. She lost all her belongings including her car to the wild fires. Although she is lucky that nobody got hurt, everything she had is gone aside from some clothing.
