Hello friends, family, acquaintances , strangers...all of my loved ones ! I am urgently in need of help . My pride and ego prevented me from asking until the 11th hour until someone reminded me I'm worthy of help . I'm about to be evicted from my home of over a decade, I went to court this week, got an extension until this Thursday and I have to show up with $836 to keep living here. I got extremely behind on bills because of health problems which caused me to be unfairly treated at the job I've been at for almost 3 years . I've been bullied to hell by a particular boss and my hours have been cut down to almost nothing . Here's where it gets interesting...a couple months ago I had an annual maintenance walkthrough and the guy noticed the black mold on my bathroom ceiling above the shower and realized how bad it actually was. My ex partner and I always thought the mold on the ceiling was our responsibility and I tried clean it with bleach solution. The maintenance guy recorded a video saying that "this is dangerous and not the tenants fault" . Within a few days they tore the entire bathroom ceiling out and removed a disturbing amount of deeply molded insulation. It was a full month before my bathroom ceiling was replaced. I have pictures videos and receipts of all this . It was a leak from the gutters not being cleaned for far too long that caused it . So apparently I was taking hot black mold showers for over a year without knowing how bad it actually was. I have RA and autoimmune issues and I'm used to having rough days , but I could not explain for the life of me why I felt like garbage all of the time, had zero energy, zero appetite. 2 months after the mold being removed I actually have energy again and I'm trying to keep my home for now. I'm not a huge fan of this property management company, my rent doubled when they took over and I'm pretty sure their lawyer might be an actual demon. BUT...I love my neighborhood, my neighbors and the community of North Linden in general. I'm asking for help so I can have a fighting chance to get away from an abusive job and better myself while not giving up on a home I worked really hard for and feel safe at . I think I've rambled enough here ! I love you all and even if you are unable to help , I could always use a hug or a high five
