Our dear friend Lindsay Abromaitis-Smith , a fiercely talented 43-year-old artist living with severe ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) in Flemington, New Jersey, is in urgent need of a specialized adjustable bed - one that will allow her to live with dignity, comfort, and mobility.

Lindsay is completely confined to her bed 24/7, relying on caregivers and specialized equipment for even the most basic daily needs. Last month, her custom bed - her lifeline - broke without warning, leaving her with painful whiplash and a severe loss of mobility. The manufacturer refuses to take responsibility, and ever since, Lindsay has been trapped in an uncomfortable emergency hospital bed that is making her suffering even worse.
