Help Lindsay get back on her feet after Cancer

Ask anyone who knows her, and they will tell you the Lindsay Dingwell is an amazing person.  She’s a bubbly fireball of happy energy, and it is contagious to be around.  So when she suddenly started having unexplained nausea and other symptoms, she went to her doctor. And for 2 years her doctor told her that there was nothing wrong.  Despite the doctor’s insistence, Lindsay began having to take sick days.  And then, a lump.  Her doctor tested and said it was a goiter.  Nothing to be concerned about.

2 years later, still unable to find answers from her doctor, Lindsay became frustrated and went to see a new doctor.  And from this doctor received more tests.  And finally, in November of 2018, a diagnosis.

Thyroid Cancer.

Her new doctor recommended surgery.  But Lindsay had already missed so much work and didn’t want to be a financial burden. It wasn’t until June of this year when Lindsay was able to undergo surgery, where they removed the tumor and the left side of her thyroid gland.

After the surgery, Lindsay has found that she is unable to work and even working part time is physically and mentally exhausting.  Because of her extended periods of either being off work or working part time, both she and her husband Matt are feeling financial strains.  With Christmas coming, the stress is even more pronounced.

So, here’s where you come in.  If you’re reading this, you have probably benefited from Lindsay’s kind generous spirit at some point in your life.  Let’s make a little Christmas miracle and lift some of the burden off of the Dingwell’s shoulders.  Every little bit will help.
