Lindsay has Cystic Fibrosis. This horrendous disease makes it hard for her body to function in many ways; however, it is most difficult for her to breathe. Colorado is a beautiful place, but its dry climate and high altitude make it even harder for Lindsay to breathe. Because her lungs are in a very frail state right now, Lindsay and her mother and daughter are needing to relocate to a more tropical climate in Florida, which is not a cheap endeavor.

Lindsay will also need to be making frequent returns from Florida to Colorado to keep up treatment with her doctors. Anyone who knows Lindsay knows she is incredibly kind, generous, outgoing, and full of life. She would do anything to help those she cares about and I hope we can return the favor!
