Hi, my name is Amanda, and I’m raising money to surprise my 8-year-old son, Linden, with a Cuddle Clone of his beloved cat, Romeo, for his 9th birthday in September.

Romeo wasn’t just a cat he was family. He showed up as a tiny, scared kitten and slowly became part of our hearts. He was 10 year old over the years, he grew especially close to Linden. They were truly inseparable. Romeo slept beside Linden every single night, comforted him when he was sad, and was his very best friend.

On July 19, 2025, Romeo was tragically killed by a speeding car outside our home. The driver didn’t even stop. Since then, Linden has cried almost every day. He often asks to see pictures of them together and recently said, “Mommy, can you print me some pictures of me and Romeo so I can remember him forever?”

That’s what inspired this idea. Cuddle Clones creates custom stuffed animals that look just like your pet. I know how much it would mean for Linden to be able to hug “Romeo” again to have something soft and familiar to hold when he’s missing him most.

Cuddle Clones are currently $199, but after taxes and uncertain shipping costs, we set our goal to $325 just to make sure everything is fully covered. We simply can’t afford this on our own right now, but we hope with a little help, we can make this surprise possible.

Even $1 means the world. If we’re able to reach our goal, we’ll post a video of Linden opening his surprise and finally getting to hug his best friend again.
