Help Linda Watson with Recovery
Donation protected
As some of you may know, our dear friend Linda Watson was critically injured in a tragic accident on August 27th, in Fenton during that horrible storm. Her car was struck when a large tree hurled through her front window, severing her arm and impaling her chest and abdomen. Doctors said it was a miracle she survived! Through God's will and all your much needed prayers and the efforts of the U of M medical team she did pull through after numerous surgeries, including the amputation of her arm. Linda's survival is a testament to her strength and resilience and the good samaritans at the scene. She has been in the hospital for over 6 weeks! Linda is a retired Huron Valley school bus driver living alone on a very limited income. She has always devoted herself to helping others and driving children with special needs. Linda is a loving mother of two and "YaYa" to 5 grandchildren. In the accident, Linda lost her hearing aids, her car was totaled, she will need to find a place to live that is more manageable for her and she is hoping for a prosthetic arm. Linda has months of rehab ahead of her when she is finally able to get out of the hospital and begin the journey of adjusting to life without an arm at the age of 73. Needless to say, Linda will have expenses far beyond her means. So, we are starting a GoFundMe Account in her name to hopefully help with some of these expenses. Anything at all will be greatly appreciated!
