My name is Linda, and I’m reaching out for help during one of the most difficult times in my life. Since February 2025, I have been unemployed despite my best efforts to find a suitable job. I have years of experience as a customer service professional and am a certified Paraprofessional, but the job market has been tough, and every day feels like an uphill battle.

Living on Social Security alone just isn’t enough to cover my basic bills—utilities, phone, internet, car payment, and insurance. This morning, my phone service was disconnected due to late payments, making it even harder to continue my job search or stay connected with potential employers. I’m doing everything I can to get back on my feet, but the financial strain has become overwhelming.

Asking for help is not easy for me. My pride has kept me from reaching out until now, but I’ve realized that there’s no shame in needing support.
