Linda Crosthwait is a retired teacher and counselor who has always been a pillar in her community, helping anyone in need. About 11 years ago, Linda underwent foot surgery, but the wound never fully healed. In 2021, she developed sepsis, and her loved ones feared the worst. Thankfully, Linda’s strength and faith helped her overcome the infection, but the years since have been filled with pain, swelling, and recurring infections.
After consulting with her doctor, it was determined that the best way to prevent further infections was to remove her leg and knee. On March 27th, 2026, Linda bravely underwent surgery. She is now recovering, and while the pain has subsided, she faces a long road ahead. Linda will need ongoing aftercare for her health, and her home must be made ADA compliant before she can return. This includes widening three doorways for wheelchair access and installing a larger, accessible shower.
Linda is surrounded by friends and family who do all they can to support her, and she is deeply grateful for their love. She leans on her faith and knows God will take care of her. If you are able, please consider donating to help Linda on her journey to recovery. If you can’t donate, a special prayer or sharing this fundraiser would mean the world. Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
