Help Linda & Randy Who Lost Everything In Fire

Around 8am on January 16th, 2022, Linda and Randy Sandefur (pictured on the left and right) lost everything due to (what they suspect) their water heater catching fire and burning down their house and totaling out their car. Linda awoke to the smell of smoke and quickly ran to the living room where she saw flames coming from the water heater. Randy was asleep in the living room and has difficulty getting around due to a stroke that paralyzed part of one side of his body and a hip replacement he had not long ago. It is believed the water heater exploded causing the their single wide trailer to quickly go up in flames. Linda was able to get herself, Randy and their dogs out safely. However, their house and only vehicle is a complete loss.

 

Linda is okay, but Randy is currently on life support due to extreme smoke inhalation along with second burns to a large portion of his body. He is currently being transported to Grady. If this wasn't already devastating enough, the Doctors also just diagnosed him with COVID and pneumonia.

 

With that being said, we are taking up donations whether monetary, clothes, shoes, etc. Linda is also a diabetic who recently lost her mother and sister this past year. Needless to say, this is an extremely hard time they are enduring and need all the prayers they can get.

 

Given Randy will likely be in the hospital for an extended period of time, we are most focused on getting items together for Linda. She wears a large in shirts, 8-12 (depending on the brand, also prefers straight leg if possible) in pants, and 8 in shoes. Randy wears a 11/12 in shoes, 40 in pants, and 3XL in shirts.
