Hello friends. My name is Kimberli and I've started this GoFundMe for one of the sweetest, kindest humans - Linda Patten. I hope you'll join me in raising funds to cover medical expenses that are not covered by her insurance. Linda has had numerous setbacks... her words are below (she cannot get the last surgery until her kidney function improves):

My journey started on February 27, 2025, when I lost my balance getting out of the shower and shattered my right femur. After three surgeries, and six weeks of antibiotics each day to keep infection away from my prosthetic knee and hip, my kidneys were damaged and were only 50% functional. Now I cannot go home as I have no knee and I'm awaiting my fourth surgery to replace my knee joint.

I'm staying at Cottage Grove at the rate of $361.00 per day - $10,000.00 per month which is due at the end of June. I was told that due to my damaged kidneys, I may have to stay at Cottage Grove for an extended amount of time into July or maybe August. If you my find it in your heart to help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

Due to the uncertainty of timing with Linda's surgery, we will leave this fundraiser up until she is released to return home. She was scheduled for surgery on the 30th of June, but had an infection that has delayed the operation. She is still at Cottage Grove.
