Help Linda Fortier After Devastating House Fire

My name is Justin Fortier, and I am starting this GoFundMe campaign to help my aunt Linda Fortier and her son Jonathon, who lost almost everything in a devastating house fire (video news report) that occurred on March 10th in Bristol, CT.

We are fortunate that my parents, Peter and Irene, have extra rooms in Canton for now, but as far as we know, the fire has completely wiped out everything in Linda's apartment. We are thankful no one died, but her cats did not make it.

During the fire, Jonathon had to jump from the second floor to save his life, which has resulted in multiple fractures and broken bones. He is currently undergoing surgery, but is not in critical condition. It will be a long road to recovery.

Linda has been an incredible volunteer making food at St. Patrick's church and always rises to the occasion when asked to help. Asking for help isn't her style, but we know our community will want to support her, so we wanted to make this page available.

As of now, the cause of the fire is unknown, and the family is unable to access their apartment until Tuesday at the earliest.
