Hi, my name is Linda.

On December 17th, at 51 years old, I was diagnosed with lung cancer. While this diagnosis was terrifying, there is hope—it was caught early. Early detection means I have a real chance to beat this, but only if I can move forward quickly with the necessary tests, scans, and treatments.

I am a mother of two, a stepmother of two, and a very proud grandmother of ten. For 13 years, I served my community as a firefighter, and I continue to give back as a wildlife rehabilitator—helping animals who cannot help themselves.

Unfortunately, lung cancer has already taken both of my parents. Losing them to this disease makes this diagnosis even more frightening, but it also fuels my determination to fight with everything I have.

Right now, my biggest obstacle is financial. My insurance deductible resets on January 1st, and I am unable to afford the deductible required to move forward with critical testing and treatment. Without paying this deductible, I cannot receive the care needed to stop this cancer before it progresses. Every dollar raised will go directly toward:

Because my deductible resets on January 1st, I must pay these costs before insurance will fully cover my care. Without meeting this deductible, I cannot move forward with the scans, testing, and treatments needed to stop this cancer early. Every dollar raised will go directly toward meeting my deductible and medical out-of-pocket expenses so I can receive care without delay.
