My dear sister, Linda’s story.

She is single mum that struggles to beat breast cancer for the third time.

Fundraise to prevent more relapse and to overcome cancer.

My dear sister Linda, aged 39, a youth recreation worker, who lives and breathes for social welfare and the equality of others.

A single mum of two beautiful children - Pippi (aged 7) and Emil (aged 10).

Emil struggles with ADHD and autism.

From a young age, we were always told by our aunt to “check our boobs”. We were good girls; we did.

Just after Christmas, Linda was in the shower doing her usual self examination when she found a lump on her right breast.

2021, March 1st, she was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer, a particularly aggressive form of cancer. Surgery,18 rounds of chemo and a week with radiation therapy. Three weeks left, when suddenly… A new lump... A new triple negative breast cancer.

9 November 2021, Three weeks left of treatments for the first tumor.

Almost at the finish line!! Almost…

New plan. New treatments. New surgery. Mastektomi. Chemo. Radiation therapy.

AGAIN!

26 August 2022, after 543 days of treatments, we were all cheering. Celebrating. She was finally done.

Bye bye hospitals! See you Never!!

However, the joy didn't last long - a few weeks later we found a third lump. After a biopsy we has to acknowledge that the triple negative cancer was back. Back!!

AGAIN!!!

It was a beautiful autumn day. A day where the birds sang and the leaves just had started to fall. October 14th 2022. The starting point of the THIRD round of cancer.

Obviously Linda is terrified. Heartbroken. But because of her kids she needs to stay strong and keep on fighting. But her body is damaged and her soul is a mess.

As her body is prone to cancer we don't feel it's enough to only rely on Swedish healthcare this time. We need to do more. We need to try something different since chemo and radiation are obviously not doing the job!

After lots of researching we found The Arcadia Praxisklinik. This is a cancer treatment clinic in Germany for integrative medicine and cancer therapy, where the latest findings from scientific research are combined with experience-based naturopathy.

Germany has a medical freedom that allows them to offer such sought-after treatments not available in many other countries.

Basically they “Reset” the body through alternative medicine and treatments.

Although the treatment itself is expensive and cannot be done until the treatments in Sweden are complete, which should be by the end of spring 2023.

Her current hospital bills are covered by the Swedish government, and 80% of her salary too. (Sweden is a great country) However, since she has been on sick leave for almost two years now, they are going to lower her sick leave pay to a bare minimum, which will break her financially, considering that she must provide for her two young children.

Homecare. As the Swedish welfare is generous enough to offer homecare help (cleaning, laundry etc) at the house for a low fee. Well, for you maybe, but with her reduced salary, for her it's a massive amount of 2160 Swedish Krona a month - which she can't afford.

Yea she could do it all, but after two years of fighting cancer she is weak and exhausted from hiding her emotions to protect her kids. She needs all the extra help she can get.

Please, help, an act of kindness is good for the soul and for Linda and her family every little bit counts.

Funds will go to Treatments at the Arcadia clinic. Flight Tickets and costs due to the “German plan”.

We must ensure Linda eats extra healthy, clean and organic products, to make her body repel the cancer growth.

For Linda, Pippi and Emil, who already has a difficult and stressful time dealing with his challenging conditions. Through the support of this community we can help them have as close to a normal quality of life as possible considering the circumstance.
