My name is June Coan, and my mom Linda Eisman needs help. My mom has had glasses since she was in 2nd grade. My mom's eyes have gotten worse to the point she needs surgery.

My mom recently retired and is on a fixed income. Medicare only covers one eye. She needs both done. It costs $1,550 for one eye and $2,700 for the other eye. That's after insurance coverage. She has dates set. The problem is she has no credit and can't get any credit cards, including CareCredit. She's also unable to get any loans to help, and no one in the family can cosign.

If she can't get the money, she will be forced to cancel these surgeries (she needs two). Her eyes are getting to the point where I have to give her rides because sometimes she struggles to drive.

If anyone can help to cover the majority of the costs, we would be grateful.
