Hi, my name is Linda. I never imagined I would be in a position to ask for help, but after losing my husband to a sudden heart attack last year, I’ve been doing my best to get by on Social Security alone. I’ve always managed to pay my bills and live frugally, but this month, everything has become overwhelming. My property tax is also due, and on top of that, my car insurance and home insurance have all increased unexpectedly, even though I haven’t had any accidents or tickets. I’ve always kept a careful budget and paid off my credit cards every month, but now I’m facing bills I simply can’t cover.

On top of these challenges, my car needs major repairs, and I’ve just learned it will cost much more than I can afford. I also have two wonderful dogs, Clementine and Moose, who have been part of my family for 12 years. They both need vaccinations soon, and I want to make sure they stay healthy. Next month is also my daughter’s birthday, and I’d love to be able to do something special for her, even if it’s small.
