Help Linda Cintas fight cancer

Hello Friends & Family, I am sharing my mom’s gofundme account in hopes that we reach our goal of $30,000. Last month my mom was admitted to the hospital for what we thought was a respiratory infection, instead we found out that she has adenocarcinoma (stage 4 lung cancer).

These last few weeks have been devastating and we are trying to navigate how to pick up the pieces and move forward. After being hospitalized for three weeks, my mom has had multiple tests trying to figure out what was wrong, after being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer doctors had to insert a chest tube inside of her lung to drain fluid so that she could breathe. She was finally released only to be readmitted after coming down with a 105 fever. My mom is back in the hospital and has sepsis. It has been a very difficult three weeks, but if you know my mom/Linda you know that she will not complain about pain or ask for help, she is strong and is a fighter.

We are trying to figure out how we can help relieve the stress and financial burden that this has caused. Insurance is covering a portion of the treatment but will not cover the specialist that she needs and we will need to pay out of pocket. My sister and I are doing what we can but if you are able to donate through this page we would greatly appreciate it. All funds will go directly towards her medical bills.

If you have ever had the privilege of meeting my mom you were blessed with a home cooked meal and in store for a special treat that was made with love. Linda lives for her family and grandkids. You will always find her in the kitchen cooking up something special and taking care of everyone else before she takes care of herself. She is known for her amazing baking skills so much that she has catered weddings, bridal showers, birthday and anniversary parties. From cake pops, to specially designed cakes, cookies, mini pies, she has put smiles on many many faces.

My mom is perfect, she is selfless, loves fashion and bowling, never smoked a day in her life and lives a clean and healthy lifestyle by walking and taking care of herself. She is an amazing individual, if you need something she is there for you. She has always been there for my sister and me and now we want to do what we can to protect her like she has always done for us.
