Help Linda Azevedo on her journey to BEAT cancer
Donation protected
On November 7th of 2020, Linda Azevedo was taken to the emergency room by her husband Dustin with severe abdominal pain and cramping. It started off the week before as mild to moderate abdominal cramping. On Friday night the pain became worse and by Saturday morning it was clear a trip to the emergency room was inevitable. This healthy, vibrant 45 year old mother of two thought she was going to the ER, would be given some meds and sent on her merry way to go home and continue on with her weekend. This was the day that we learned that Cancer had found its way into one of the most pure, loving, happy and caring women you will ever meet. Without any warning signs or family history , she was diagnosed with Colon Cancer. After emergency surgery to remove the mass and a week long stay she was sent home to heal and recover and prepare her body for chemotherapy. After multiple tests and scans we then learned it had metastasized to her lungs. With every curveball she has been given she has remained grateful and positive and full of hope. She , her husband, children and her entire family are the example of choosing Faith and Gratitude when life gives you the unimaginable. Even on their scariest and darkest of days you would be greeted with the most beautiful smiles. She has worked from the second that she felt strong enough to do so, but now with her treatment plan becoming more involved and more aggressive, she will not have the say in how much or how long she will be able to work. Let's lift this family up and help support them while she recovers and heals.
