On April 25, 2024, life for Linda and Wayne would be changed forever when a fire suddenly raged through their home, consuming a lifetime's worth of cherished memories and taking the lives of their beloved cats, Tiny and Tiger.

This amount of loss is so unimaginable to most of us, and it has taken a severe toll on them both. Being suddenly uprooted and living out of a hotel room has been difficult for a couple who should be comfortably enjoying their golden years rather than starting all over. At ages 80 and 68, the prospect of starting over is terrifying.
