I’m coming to you in the hopes you’ll want to lend a hand to Linda, the master stained glass restorationist and artist who lives right here in Norwich. She has had to take off work for the last couple of months as her partner of 47 years, Mike, battles cancer. Since Linda is a freelance artist, when she doesn’t work, she doesn’t get paid. Her dear partner Mike was diagnosed just four months ago, and Linda has had to be his full-time caretaker. Ruby, as you see from the picture, also does not leave Mike’s side…..

Many of you have met Linda at Irreplaceable Artifacts, where she painstakingly and lovingly brings life back to some of the most stunning stained glass pieces, and creates designs of her own. Before that, Linda created the dogwood stained glass that lined the halls of Foxwoods Casino. Linda is used to working long tiring days but the last couple months have been at a different magnitude of terrible. Often Mike suffers anxiety and Linda stays up with him all night to care take. At this point, Linda is exhausted and devastated.

It would mean the world to her - and Ruby - if you could help out during this awful time. Any donation amount helps. It will help Linda keep the lights on now, and help with the expenses to follow.
