My name is Denise and I am creating this GoFundMe for my son and his family.

Our 3-year-old grandson, Lincoln, has recently been diagnosed with Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma (cancer).

He will have chemo once a week for 10 months at U of M Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor, along with radiation treatments.

This is a diagnosis that no parent or grandparent wants to hear, and we would like to do what we can to alleviate some of the stress for them.

My daughter-in-law, Meghan, will be off work from her job as an Occupational Therapist to care for Lincoln and take him to his weekly chemo appointments, which will cause a financial strain with only Kyle’s income. This is going to be a long road for them, and we would like to help alleviate some of the financial stress of weekly trips to Ann Arbor, eating out during hospital visits (Lincoln spent this past weekend in the hospital again unexpectedly), gas to get back and forth for his chemo, medical bills, etc.

We will be having a benefit dinner next month for them, but people who can’t go are asking how they can donate.
