Lincoln is my beloved shepherd husky mix, born on November 21, 2016. We brought him home when he was just four weeks old, and he’s been a huge part of our family ever since. Lincoln is a large, black, energetic dog who’s always been full of life—hyper, fun, and incredibly loving. He’s protective and sometimes wary of new people, but once he trusts you, he’s the most loyal friend you could ask for.

Recently, we noticed some worrying changes in Lincoln. He started losing weight, became less active, and stopped playing as much as he used to. He also became agitated when jumping onto the bed, which was unusual for him. These changes led us to the vet, where we received the heartbreaking news that Lincoln has cancer. It’s been a difficult time for our family as we try to process this diagnosis and figure out the best way to help him.

Lincoln needs limb sparing surgery to give him the best chance at a happy, healthy life. The cost of this surgery is significant, and while we are doing everything we can to pay out of pocket, we know we can’t do it alone.
