The 8th grade class at Lincoln Middle School has always looked forward to the annual Hershey Park trip—a tradition that marks the end of middle school and celebrates all the hard work our students have put in. Unfortunately, this year our school district is facing a significant budget deficit, and there simply aren’t enough funds to make this trip possible for our students. For many, this trip is more than just a day at the park; it’s a rite of passage and a chance to create lasting memories with friends before heading off to high school.
We’re reaching out to our community for help because we believe every student deserves the chance to celebrate their achievements and enjoy this special tradition. The funds raised will go directly toward covering the cost of tickets, meals, and transportation, ensuring that no student is left out due to financial hardship. Your support will make a huge difference in the lives of these young people, giving them a joyful send-off as they prepare for the next chapter.
Thank you to everyone who donates to our 8th graders. Your generosity will help them celebrate completing middle school and mark the beginning of their journey to high school. Every contribution, big or small, brings us closer to making this trip a reality for all.
