Help Lina Fight for Her Life and Reunite With Her Daughter

We are asking for help for Lina, a survivor of a horrific act of domestic violence. Lina was shot and is currently hospitalized, fighting for her life. Her recovery will be long and difficult, and during this unimaginable time, she is facing it almost completely alone.

Lina has no family in Texas. While she remains hospitalized, the state temporarily placed her young daughter in Child Protective Services, simply because Lina was injured and unable to care for her at that moment. One of Lina’s greatest fears right now is being separated from her child while she heals.

The funds raised will go directly toward helping Lina survive and rebuild her life, including:

• Daily living expenses while she is hospitalized and during recovery

• Transportation and travel costs to bring family from abroad to Texas to support her

• Legal and reunification-related expenses to help her regain custody of her daughter

• Housing and basic necessities for Lina and her daughter once she is discharged

• Support during her long physical and emotional recovery

No one should have to endure violence, fight for their life, and fear losing their child all at once. Lina deserves safety, dignity, and the chance to heal surrounded by love and support.
