Help Lin get the care she needs
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Ryan Parker, I am Lin Parker's middle son. Three years ago, Lin was diagnosed with Adnoid Cystic Carcinoma of the salvatory gland (head and neck), a rare cancer with no cure. In recent months, the cancer has unfortunately spread to her lungs, brain, liver, and other parts of her body. Lin recently was encouraged to turn to hospice care at this time. Lin is confined to her bed and needs immediate care in her home so she can be comfortable during this difficult time . My brothers and I are looking for immediate funds to assist with medical care, in home nursing care, hospital and treatment bills, and costs of living including food and mortgage payments. Any donations are greatly appreciated.
So you know who you are donating to, here is a little about our amazing mom...
Linda Parker is 62 and raised the three of us and supported us all of our lives. She has worked very hard for everything she has, even refusing to give up work until it became difficult to continue to do. She was there for every football and lacrosse game for us growing up no matter the weather or the distance. She stood by her two sons as they left for the Marine Corps and endured the hardships of a mother as her sons deployed overseas. Her youngest Brandon played football for Alfred University where she attended every game even though most of them were far. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed days in her pool. She loved taking her dog, Willow, on long walks and enjoyed restoring old furniture that she would fix to her liking. Linda also was helpful to other parents who's kids went to USMC boot camp as she ran many Facebook pages that provided lots of information on what their recruits would endure while away from home. She is a great friend and loved by many and deserves all the help we can give her. She is a wonderful, strong and caring woman and the best mother three sons could ever ask for.
