Update Nov 25, 2025: Limbo will be having surgery in January - we have included the breakdown of costs from the vet in the pictures.
When Limbo was very young, he was sadly kept in a very tight space which affected his growth. Because of that, one of his legs didn’t fully develop and although he's not in pain, after long walks or physical activity he limps and has a hard time walking. So we recently took Limbo to a vet who strongly recommended an X-ray and an orthopaedic consultation to better understand his condition. This will also help us provide potential adopters with a clear picture of what’s going on with his leg so he can find the loving forever home he deserves.
The estimated cost for the X-rays and orthopaedic consultation is $2,000. Unfortunately, this is outside of our budget as a rescue with many dogs in our care.
That’s why we’re reaching out for help. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward Limbo’s medical care and give him the best chance at a healthy, happy future.
If you aren’t able to donate, you can still help by sharing Limbo’s story. Together, we can get him the care he needs and set him on the path to a brighter future.
Thank you so much for your support
