Hey y’all. Miss Lily here is going through it and could really use some extra help. Lily was caught as a stray and brought into a kill shelter in Roswell, New Mexico. She was 24 hours from euthanasia despite being due to give birth any moment. She was brought in to my hospital and we decided to foster her. She delivered 6 beautiful babies on November 23rd. In the last 72 hours she has taken a turn for the worse. She developed mild mastitis and is now needing an emergency mastectomy. The babies will remain with me to be tube fed until momma is out of the hospital. If y’all can spare anything for this sweet girl 100% will go to A Friend ofJack to help cover the cost. This dog is truly incredible. She kept 6 babies alive despite being so malnourished. She’s an extremely attentive and caring mother. She deserves some rest and relief.
