I would like to share with you the story of my little sister, Lily.
Lily has always been my life teacher. Her unconditional love, resilience, and light have touched everyone who knows her. Today, that light faces a great challenge: in less than a month, Lily was diagnosed with Extraskeletal Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare and aggressive type of cancer found in the soft tissues of her leg.
After an emergency surgery and multiple tests, she has started a long journey of treatments, including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and possibly more surgical interventions.
Unfortunately, due to her medical history, Lily is unable to obtain health insurance, and each treatment represents a significant financial impact on our family.
Expenses have already reached $200,000 MXN (15,400 CAD / $10,500 USD), covering surgery, biopsies, medical visits, and other studies. However, this is not even half of the estimated costs ahead:
* PET Scan $22,000 MXN ($1,700 CAD / $1,160 USD)
* CT Scans and MRIs $40,000 MXN ($3,100 CAD / $2,100 USD)
* Chemotherapy $40,000–$50,000 MXN per session ($3,800 CAD / $2,600 USD)
* Radiotherapy $100,000 MXN ($7,700 CAD / $5,300 USD)
Despite everything, Lily continues to smile, spreading hope and teaching us that love is stronger than any diagnosis.

Quisiera compartirte la historia de mi hermanita Lily.
Lily ha sido, desde siempre, mi maestra de vida. Su amor incondicional, su resiliencia y su luz han tocado a todos los que la conocen. Hoy esa luz enfrenta un gran reto: en menos de un mes, Lily fue diagnosticada con un Sarcoma de Ewing extraesquelético, un tipo de cáncer agresivo en los tejidos blandos de su pierna.
Después de una cirugía de emergencia y múltiples estudios, comenzó un largo camino de tratamientos, incluyendo quimioterapia, radioterapia y posiblemente más intervenciones quirúrgicas.
Lamentablemente, debido a su historial médico, Lily no puede contar con seguro médico y cada tratamiento representa un fuerte impacto económico para nuestra familia.
Los gastos ya han alcanzado la cifra de $200,000 MXN (15,400 CAD / $10,500 USD) entre cirugía, biopsias, visitas medicas, y mas estudios. Estos no son ni la mitad de la estimación que se aproxima:

-Tac y Resonancias $40,000 MXN ($3,100 CAD / $2,100 USD)
-Quimioterapia $40,000 - $50,000 MXN por sesión ($3,800 CAD / $2,600 USD)

A pesar de todo, Lily sigue sonriendo, transmitiendo esperanza y enseñándonos que el amor es más fuerte que cualquier diagnóstico.
